Our plans address militancy in the Niger Delta region, terrorism by Boko Haram, Farmer–Herdsmen conflicts and the general spread in violence, kidnappings and lawlessness. We will focus on community development and job opportunities in the Niger Delta and initiate environmental clean up associated with oil and gas development and enforce environmental protection measures in the South-South region.

We will forge partnerships on counter-terrorism intelligence, enhance training and deploy technology and cutting-edge equipment in the fight against terrorism and kidnappings.

To resolve Farmer-Herdsmen conflicts, we will enhance law enforcement and transform cattle-rearing to a commercial ranching model. We will promote community policing, intelligence gathering and crime prevention to effectively address the increased violence, kidnappings, and general lawlessness in our society.
